My favorite Beatles song.
This is without a doubt my favorite Beatles song. I have heard so very many, but this one really lifts my spirits every time. When I hear George's guitar at the beginning, it always puts a smile on my face. Such a wonderful song. I find it amazing that John called it a "throw-away" song. It's fantastic. Also, enjoy the great pictures on this one. I had never seen many of these pictures.

It's snowing Beatles!
A slight variation on "It's Raining Men," but, hey, it works. Today it's particularly snowy outside, and when I thought of what I would post today, I couldn't have picked a more appropriate song and clip for your enjoyment. If this doesn't put you in the Crimble spirit, I don't know what will!

More crimbly goodness...
Love Ringo's laugh at the end. This is one of my all-time favorites because it is just a feel-GREAT song. I always find myself smiling in the middle of it. More than a million thanks to the Beatles for making music that makes me feel a little better every time I listen to it. Their music is just like comfort food.

There's a place..
This song is a perfect way to describe how Beatles music makes me feel. Any time I feel sad and blue, I just turn on one of their perfect songs, and all seems a bit better in my world. Enjoy this tribute to John and Paul from the vast youtube collection of homemade tribute videos.

The words you long to hear...
A current favorite. Ringo and Friends encourages you to rediscover "With the Beatles." There are some true treasures on that album, and it's a definite contrast with the later Beatles music. Sometimes it's nice to revisit the beginnings of our favorite lads from Liverpool as they came into their magical, mysterious sound. Enjoy John's "All I've Got To Do."

Always surprising me...
I watched Alice in Wonderland (CBS TV production) pretty much once a week during my childhood, along with Peter Pan (Mary Martin). My parents still to this day talk about how I watched those movies over and over without tiring. It wasn't until today that I discovered something very exciting. My favorite Beatle was IN Alice in Wonderland! I couldn't believe it! All along I was watching Ringo and had no idea. Here, catch a glimpse of those beautiful blue eyes and melt-your-heart smile in a role that seems designed for our dear Ringo.

All I've got is a photograph...
This song seems sweetly appropriate for a Beatles montage. "According to the official Concert for George website, 'Ringo Starr caught everyone with a tear in their eye with a rendition of 'Photograph', a composition he wrote with George, which seemed to sum up how everyone felt.' In this concert, Starr mentioned that the song took on a whole new meaning after the passing of Harrison. The lyrics were believed to be poignantly appropriate for this occasion, including:
Ev'ry time I see your face,
It reminds me of the places we used to go.
But all I've got is a photograph,
And I realise you're not coming back anymore.
[...]
I can't get used to living here,
While my heart is broke, my tears I cried for you.
I want you here to have and hold,
As the years go by and we grow old and grey." (Wikipedia.org)

Ringo and Paul= Best Friends Forever
Or so this video would indicate. There are so many cotton candy sweet Paul and Ringo moments. I saw this video on youtube a long time ago, and I watch it from time to time when I need a joyful moment. I thought I'd share it with the Beatlemaniacs today. Peace and love, peace and love.

Paul and Ringo...just like old times!
I love how Paul and Ringo are being mischievous and Larry doesn't seem to notice. However, all of us old Beatles fans know they're up to their old antics! Don't miss Ringo's voice at the beginning saying "Wing it, Larry." I bet that wasn't supposed to go on. (More than likely, Larry said he couldn't dance or something during Paul's "Dance Tonight." That's my guess knowing Ringo as I do...)

Idol Infatuation
I found this today, and I had forgotten that Jason sang this last season. He was one of my favorite contestants. Love him! I also love the fact that he sang one of my favorite, favorite Beatles songs. Enjoy this sweet version of "If I Fell."

Faces we remember...
I found this video today on youtube, and it made me both smile and cry. What a lovely tribute to the Beatles. Thanks to joshua1990 for this simply wonderful compilation of footage to a most appropriate song. There are "faces" I remember, and the Beatles are certainly those faces that provide a little more light along the way to a world in need of a friendly face, a happy beat, and a melody that sticks with you longer than the fad songs and singers that come and go. In my life, I'm thankful to have discovered the timeless Beatles.

For John...
It has been brought to my attention that I failed to recognize the second place winner of my "Most Kissable Beatle" poll. Therefore, I have decided to dedicate this post entirely to John. Enjoy this beautiful original version of "Real Love."
We miss you, John.
