This is without a doubt my favorite Beatles song. I have heard so very many, but this one really lifts my spirits every time. When I hear George's guitar at the beginning, it always puts a smile on my face. Such a wonderful song. I find it amazing that John called it a "throw-away" song. It's fantastic. Also, enjoy the great pictures on this one. I had never seen many of these pictures.
A slight variation on "It's Raining Men," but, hey, it works. Today it's particularly snowy outside, and when I thought of what I would post today, I couldn't have picked a more appropriate song and clip for your enjoyment. If this doesn't put you in the Crimble spirit, I don't know what will!
Love Ringo's laugh at the end. This is one of my all-time favorites because it is just a feel-GREAT song. I always find myself smiling in the middle of it. More than a million thanks to the Beatles for making music that makes me feel a little better every time I listen to it. Their music is just like comfort food.
"If music be the food of love, Sing on till I am fill'd with joy..." ~William Shakespeare
One of my all-time favorite Beatle songs and all-time favorite fan-made Beatle videos. With Paul's angelic velvet voice and the melody's instant mirth formula, how can you not love this song? Enjoy today and think of Crimble cookies baking in the oven.
As a special Crimble treat, Ringo and Friends is proud to present the "25 Days of Beatles." Each day, a favorite Beatle song will be featured as a countdown to a special Beatles Christmas message. Enjoy two Beatles selections today, as December 1st was inadvertently skipped! So sit back and enjoy two heaping servings of Beatle goodness.
